At Gugel Painting, LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality ceiling restoration services. Below is a breakdown of our process for popcorn ceiling removal:
Staging Process
Protection: We apply a two-layer floor covering system for optimal protection. The first layer assists in the removal of popcorn debris, while the second layer provides additional floor protection.
Removal
Popcorn Ceiling Removal: The removal process is tailored based on the condition of the popcorn residue and the method used for its original application. We will either perform a wet or dry removal process, depending on the surface condition.
Surface Preparation: After the popcorn texture is removed, we will scrape away any remaining residue.
Drywall Inspection and Repair: We inspect all surfaces for imperfections such as water marks, stains, gaps, cracks, and seams. Any issues will be patched and spackled to create a smooth surface.
Advanced Repair Option: If the drywall is in rough or damaged condition, an alternative service may be provided, subject to agreement between the customer and Gugel Painting, LLC. This includes an advanced floating process with spackle to skim-coat and restore the surface.
